Our CDBIA Executive Officer Donna Barrett has been arrested! Since 2021, The Charlotte DeSoto Building Industry Association Professional Women in Building Council has awarded $12,000 in construction scholarships to women building themselves for a career in construction.
The scholarship fund started from the hardworking women of the CDBIAPWB. Most of the proceeds were raised from the CDBIA PWB's staple event "The Builder Triathlon". Additional donations have come from members who want to help grow the construction industry.
